Live.Learn.Lead This is not only our slogan but it also ingrained into the KSU living experience. We don't only say it, we believe it!
Live- From amenities to activities, KSU Housing is a leader in innovative on-campus student housing, providing the best college “Living” experience. Our diverse communities offer various floor plans, with fully-furnished private bedrooms, cable television, and individual secure access. Our communities come equipped with activity centers, with pool tables, foosball, and big screen televisions. Outdoor recreation areas include grills, sand volleyball, and basketball. Social activities are available throughout the year, like Get In Gear Week, Spring Fest, Monster Ball, Greek Block Party, and Casino Night. Visit http://www.kennesaw.edu/residencelife/
Learn- KSU Housing is also focused on student learning success. High-speed internet is available in all rooms, and computer labs are provided in all communities. Residential Freshman benefit from the “First Year Experience” and Learning Communities, where cohorts of 25 students share class block to improve learning and retention. Classrooms are provided both on site, and within a close walk of housing Residence Life staff, counselors, and public safety are available 24/7, offering numerous evening programs on academic success and safety. Free evening tutoring is provided to assist with student success. Special theme housing is available for Honors Program students.
Lead- Learning to lead is essential for future success beyond college, and KSU Housing provides numerous opportunities for student leadership. Elected residents from every floor and building across campus serve on the Community Councils and the Residence Hall Association (RHA). Also, the top 1% of all residents can apply to be inducted into the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH). After one semester residents can apply to be a Resident Assistant and lead your peers in housing.
Individual Contracts Give yourself piece of mind. KSU Housing offers individual contracts. By signing an individual contract for your student, you are only responsible for the rent of your student. You have no liability for the other roommates within your student’s apartment. If a roommate moves out, transfers or graduates, you are not responsible for that roommate’s rent. This is a benefit compared to joint and several leases that are typically signed at off campus apartments and rental homes.
Parent Communication is important to us! Click here for a chance to read our Quarterly Parent Newsletter- The Parliament. You will be able to access important information regarding your student's housing community and living experience in this newsletter. Wondering where the name The Parliament came from? A parliament is a group of adult owls.
KSU Housing gives your student the independence to live in a private environment, while still offering a traditional college experience.
 Welcome to Owl County!
